Do I have to submit a credit card prior to my consultation appointment?

After you schedule your consultation, you will receive an email asking you to enter a credit card in order to finalize the reservation. We understand that this makes some people uncomfortable and so here is a bit of information which will hopefully help explain our policy.

Unfortunately, in this business, we sometimes have no-show clients. This means that someone schedules an appointment and does show up, nor do they contact us to cancel 48 hours prior to the start of their appointment. Here’s the scoop:

  • First of all, rest assured, your information is safe. We use Square for bookings which is where your information is stored. Square is a credit card processor used by many businesses and is very secure.
  • Secondly, this is not a prepayment. You will not be charged at the time you schedule your appointment. The only time we will use this information is to collect payment is if you are a no-show or cancel less than 48 hours prior to your appointment. Our hope is that the credit card requirement will make people more thoughtful about scheduling appointments that they may already know they can’t or won’t keep, or that at the very least they will make a greater attempt to cancel prior to 48 hours before their scheduled time.
  • Thirdly, if you decide to purchase a topper at your consultation there is no charge for the consultation appointment.

Sullivan Hairwear Cancellation Policy:
Consultation appointments cancelled prior to 48 hours in advance of your appointment will not be charged. Appointments cancelled after 48 hours in advance of your appointment will be charged the $75 consultation fee. We hope that you are assured that your credit card information is secure and will not be abused.
