Joyce Beckham was the winner of our Mothers’ Day 2024 give-away. She was nominated by her granddaughter Natalie with a very heart-tugging story.
“Please consider my grandmother Joyce Beckham. She cared for her husband who battled dementia for an excruciating 12 years and now goes to visit those that are sick or are dealing with the same disease. As strong as she is, Meemaw has had an incredibly difficult year. She took a fall in early 2023 that was extremely traumatic and left her with horrible scars.
She has struggled to find healing from the plastic surgery, the scars, and the toughest of all, the loss of the ‘love of her life’ last April. But she is RESILIENT. Meemaw now spends her time baking for those in long term care facilities, visiting the elderly, watching her great grandkids and gardening. There is not a more deserving or selfless person on earth!”

“I couldn’t believe it when I learned my granddaughter had nominated me for the Mother’s Day giveaway. I was so excited,” said Joyce. And this was after she had already bought toppers online with sad results. “I ordered two from Amazon and they both ended up in the garage sale.”
Joyce was indeed a very deserving recipient of a full volume “Gaia” human hair topper from Sullivan Hairwear. Alli was able to style her new perfectly color-matched topper with side swept bangs to add fullness on top and help hide her scars and balding spots.
“It’s perfect. I love it!” says Joyce about her new topper, “thank you so much Robyn and Alli.”
